Established in December 2020 with the support from Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, UNDP, YNet Vietnam is a national network uniting youth in climate action. With a mission to build capacity, connect movements, and support climate and environmental initiatives with over 20 member organizations.
Since 2021, YNet has actively sent youth delegates to COP to ensure Vietnamese youth have a voice in global climate decision-making processes

At COP29, YNet’s mission goes beyond observing; we are here to assert the critical role of youth in climate policy. Vietnam, one of the countries most vulnerable to climate impacts, has a young population that will be significantly affected by climate change. Recognizing this, we aim to advocate for policies that empower youth as key contributors to climate solutions, not merely as beneficiaries.

Through the Vietnam Youth Statement, we present a roadmap for achieving inclusive, youth-led climate action, ensuring that young people have meaningful roles in shaping Vietnam’s climate resilience.
Khong Tuan Anh is currently the National Coordinator at Youth Climate Action Network Vietnam. He also serves as a Adolescent and Youth Environmental Engagement Coordinator at UNICEF East Asia and Pacific. He has over 8 years of experience working climate education, capacity building and training for youth leaders. Tuan Anh is working for
Khong Tuan Anh is currently the National Coordinator at Youth Climate Action Network Vietnam. He also serves as a Adolescent and Youth Environmental Engagement Coordinator at UNICEF East Asia and Pacific. He has over 8 years of experience working climate education, capacity building and training for youth leaders. Tuan Anh is working for his mission of empowering young people to lead the change by coordinating local and regional youth-led climate advocacy campaigns, engage with youth capacity building, youth entrepreneurship, and empowerment for social development in Vietnam and in Asia-Pacific.
Vi is a British Council's GREAT Scholar for a Sustainable Future and Alumni UK SDG13 Ambassador.
Her advocacy experience includes working with UNDP on Vietnam’s energy transition; representing her nation in the Global Youth Development Institute’s delegation at COP27 and COP28, along with connecting youth environmental groups at Vietnam Y

Currently, Vi is a Research Analyst at Climate Arc, working to accelerate the flow of private finance into climate solutions, especially in emerging markets.
