About us

 Tran Lan Nhi is a youth climate advocate and business graduate with strong experience in environmental policy, education, and youth engagement. She has worked with Live & Learn Viet Nam on the Climate Box program and Low Emission Zone policy in Hanoi, and as a Youth Researcher with UNDP’s Youth4Climate on climate education. As Head of Programmes and Advocacy at YNet Viet Nam, she coordinated youth consultations and statements for COP28 and COP29. A member of UNICEF EAPRO’s Young People’s Action Team, she has led regional initiatives on climate, gender, and disaster resilience, promoting meaningful youth participation across Asia-Pacific platforms. 

 Hong Anh is a youth advocate working at the intersection of climate and gender. She currently serves as Programme and Advocacy Member at the Youth Climate Action Network Viet Nam, where she coordinates the Youth Climate Action Week (YCAW) and gender-mainstreamed the Viet Nam Youth Statement 2024. Regionally, Anh is part of UNICEF East Asia and Pacific’s Young People’s Action Team and contributes youth perspectives to UN policy reports and facilitates workshops on disaster risk reduction (DRR). She has represented Vietnamese youth at high-level forums including the ASEAN Children and Youth Climate Summit 2025 and the Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Rights in Asia Conference. At COP30, Anh seeks to amplify national and regional youth voices and advocate for the integration of gender equity into climate policies.

 Nguyen Van Toan is a Vietnamese climate advocate and youth mobilizer. He currently serves as Head of Partnerships at the Youth Climate Action Network (YNet) and has represented Vietnamese youth at multiple regional and global forums, including COP29 and the YECAP Fellowship. With a focus on institutionalizing youth engagement in climate policy, Toan has led national youth consultations and helped bridge grassroots voices with official negotiations. 

Nguyen Duc Trung is a climate researcher and project assistant at the Mekong Institute, Can Tho University, where he supports youth-led climate initiatives and community-based adaptation projects in the Mekong Delta. He has contributed to programmes such as Y-CoRe and Climate Skills, assisting in research, training design, and coordination of workshops that equip young people with climate knowledge and green skills. His work focuses on linking academic research with youth engagement, especially in areas affected by climate change. Trung aims to strengthen evidence-based youth participation in climate resilience and policy dialogue in Vietnam.

Nguyen Dang Dao is a Co-Founder of the Young Urbanists of Southeast Asia (YUSEA), a youth-led organization focusing on the nexus of urban sustainability, innovation, and meaningful youth engagement. He is also a Systems Transformation Youth Fellow at the High-Level Climate Champions Team. Currently, he is a Ph.D. researcher at the Department of Architecture, National University of Singapore, focusing on participatory urban planning for climate-resilient cities in East and Southeast Asia.
