Established in December 2020 with the support from the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, UNDP, YNet Vietnam is a national network uniting youth in climate action. With a mission to build capacity, connect movements, and support climate and environmental initiatives with over 50 member organizations.

Since 2021, YNet has actively sent youth delegates to COP to ensure Vietnamese youth have a voice
in global climate decision-making processes

At COP30, YNet’s mission goes beyond observing; we are here to assert the critical role of youth in climate policy. Vietnam, one of the countries most vulnerable to climate impacts, has a young population that will be significantly affected by climate change. Recognizing this, we aim to advocate for policies that empower youth as key contributors to climate solutions, not merely as beneficiaries.

Tran Lan Nhi is a youth climate advocate and business graduate with strong experience in environmental policy, education, and youth engagement. She has worked with Live & Learn Viet Nam on the Climate Box program and Low Emission Zone policy in Hanoi, and as a Youth Researcher with UNDP’s Youth4Climate on climate education. As Head of Pr
Tran Lan Nhi is a youth climate advocate and business graduate with strong experience in environmental policy, education, and youth engagement. She has worked with Live & Learn Viet Nam on the Climate Box program and Low Emission Zone policy in Hanoi, and as a Youth Researcher with UNDP’s Youth4Climate on climate education. As Head of Programmes and Advocacy at YNet Viet Nam, she coordinated youth consultations and statements for COP28 and COP29. A member of UNICEF EAPRO’s Young People’s Action Team, she has led regional initiatives on climate, gender, and disaster resilience, promoting meaningful youth participation across Asia-Pacific platforms.

Hong Anh is a youth advocate working at the intersection of climate and gender. She currently serves as Programme and Advocacy Member at the Youth Climate Action Network Viet Nam, where she coordinates the Youth Climate Action Week (YCAW) and gender-mainstreamed the Viet Nam Youth Statement 2024. Regionally, Anh is part of UNICEF East Asia and Pacific’s Young People’s Action Team and contributes youth perspectives to UN policy reports and facilitates workshops on disaster risk reduction (DRR). She has represented Vietnamese youth at high-level forums including the ASEAN Children and Youth Climate Summit 2025 and the Corporate Sustainability and Environmental Rights in Asia Conference. At COP30, Anh seeks to amplify national and regional youth voices and advocate for the integration of gender equity into climate policies.
